The service creates additional capacity at the front door of primary care. Shreya, our remote practitioner, provides an exemplary, fully utilised service for our patients to support their musculoskeletal care. She works collaboratively with our surgery based physiotherapist and communicates well with our wider clinical team. She excels in her role and is now developing a remote osteoarthritis education pathway/group consultation to further support patients with their arthritis self-management.”

“Our Primary Care Network (PCN) has implemented a unique hybrid model of remote and face-to-face services, funded through our Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) budget by sub-contracting to Promni Health. This innovative approach has been highly valued by our multidisciplinary team workforce and our patients who really appreciate the additional capacity provided by remote appointments. This hybrid model also takes into account the individualised needs of our patients who are not able to travel to our Hub as they are still able to receive expert advice remotely.
