Promni Health is one of the largest providers of ARRS-funded First Contact Physiotherapy (FCP) services in England, delivering fully managed, quality-assured clinical services across 200+ Primary Care Networks and 33+ Integrated Care Systems, supporting over 1 million patient appointments each year.

We support Primary Care Networks, GP practices and neighbourhood health teams to improve patient access, reduce GP workload and ensure patients are seen by the right clinician at first contact.

The Challenge

Primary care continues to experience high demand for musculoskeletal care

GPs are managing high volumes of MSK presentations, reducing capacity for complex and longitudinal care.

At the same time, PCNs are expected to:

  • Maximise ARRS funding
  • Deliver safe autonomous FCP practice
  • Meet Health Education England’s Roadmap to Practice standards
  • Improve access and reduce unwarranted GP follow-up
  • Deliver neighbourhood-based care models

Without the right governance, supervision and workforce model in place, FCP services can become inconsistent and difficult to sustain.

Mobilisation

We work with your PCN to assess MSK demand, define FCP sessional capacity, and align delivery to ARRS requirements and Roadmap to Practice standards.

Deployment Roadmap

Roadmap compliant First Contact Physiotherapists are embedded into practices, providing front-door MSK triage, structured induction, and full integration within MDT and neighbourhood teams.

Ongoing Management

We deliver continuous clinical supervision, governance oversight, and outcomes reporting ensuring safe autonomous practice, reduced GP workload, and consistent service performance.
