At Promni Health, we recognise the important role healthcare providers have in supporting the transition to a lower carbon NHS.
We are pleased to publish our first Carbon Reduction Plan, setting out our commitment to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040, in line with NHS ambitions.
The plan establishes 2026 as our baseline year and outlines the practical steps we will take to better understand, measure and reduce our environmental impact over time. These include completing our first organisational carbon footprint assessment, embedding sustainability into procurement and business operations, reducing travel-related emissions and improving energy efficiency across the organisation.
As our business continues to grow, sustainability will become an increasingly important part of how we deliver high quality healthcare services for patients, support the NHS and work with our partners.
Our Carbon Reduction Plan will be reviewed annually to monitor progress, update our emissions data and identify further opportunities to reduce our environmental impact.
